The Relationships between Stress Mindset, Self-Efficacy, and Perfectionism and Depression, Anxiety, and Stress in Asian/Asian American and Caucasian Adults

Relationships between stress mindset, perfectionism, self-efficacy and social-emotional measures were examined in 105 college students. Preliminary results indicate cultural differences. Specifically, in Asian and Asian-American students, a “stress is enhancing” mindset predicted lower stress and depression, but not white populations.
