Abstract
This study examines the influence of gender, race, and anger expression and their influence on follower’s perceptions of leader’s likability and effectiveness. We used four vignettes to manipulate for race (Asian/Caucasian), gender (male/female), and STEM. Results found differences between Asian and White respondents in leader effectiveness and likability approach significance.
