Abstract
This study examined the effect of self-affirmation bias, information type, and demographic and personality characteristics in attitudes towards transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) people. Results showed a small self-affirmation bias effect of increased openness towards TGNC people, as well as ethnic and geographical location differences in skepticism and openness.
