Abstract
Adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer are in a vulnerable transition and at increased risk of maladjustment post-treatment. This study examined data from adolescents who had completed cancer treatment, and results revealed gender differences in levels of self-perceived competence, depression, optimism, and in the associations among them.
