Abstract
Two studies explored associations between beliefs about helpfulness of others for emotion regulation and psychological health. A cross-cultural study of 541 bereaved adults shows inverse relationships between beliefs and concurrent psychological health. Potential mechanisms tested from a longitudinal study (n = 110), to be completed in March, will be presented.
