Abstract
A case-control study of 142 U.S. metro-area counties compared high to low hazard quotient (HQ) areas based on airborne toxin exposure (National Air Toxics Assessment, 2014) but matched within state by income and education revealed higher autism prevalence among children with disabilities in high HQ counties (OR=1.29; 95% CI: 1.28-1.30).
