Abstract
Self- and proxy-reports of pain have been the subject of many scientific debates. The current study examined the utility of single (self- and proxy-) versus multi-reports of pain and anxiety in a randomized control trial of VR for IV placement. Results highlight the importance of multi-reporters, especially in pediatric trials.
