Abstract
Our research investigated whether negative/external sexual motives increase risk of sexual aggression. The results showed that two negative/external sexual motives, having sex to avoid peer disapproval and having sex to avoid partner disapproval, were associated with increased sexual aggression perpetration during adolescence and adulthood.
