Abstract
Christians with a strong religious worldview (RWV) expected a conversation with an Atheist about religion to go more negatively than weak RWV Christians. Worldview contagion concerns mediated this effect. Strong RWV Christians may avoid religious outgroups out of fear of having their own views changed by exposure to outgroup members.
