Creating a Short-Form Measurement Instrument: A Multifaceted Approach Using the Multidimensional Social Competency Scale

Short-form psychological scales offer practical utility to researchers and clinicians. However, there exists a myriad of reduction techniques and no clear guidelines in the field. This study employed a multifaceted approach that balanced reduction techniques, including classical and modern theory, simulation-based, and qualitative approaches using the Multidimensional Social Competency Scale.
