Abstract

The joint development of borderline and narcissistic personality features from ages 14–18 were examined in relation to the perpetration of dating aggression at age 19. As predicted, high dramatic-emotional features (i.e., cluster B personality disorders traits) across adolescence were associated with greater aggression in romantic relationships one year post high-school.
