Abstract
Women are underrepresented in geoscience careers, possibly due to negative attitudes toward math/science. Changing working hypotheses about learning to include affective components can improve their geoscience engagement. Creating psychologically wise interventions is important but daunting. This presentation describes the process, challenges, and implications of creating wise interventions for geoscience.
