Abstract
Latinx Dual Language Learners (DLLs) in Early Head Start displayed fewer social-emotional competencies, more behavior problems, and greater socioeconomic risk than their white, monolingual peers. Immigrant parents predicted fewer social-emotional competencies and fewer behavior problems, while other socioeconomic indicators, such as food and housing insecurity, were associated with broader difficulties.
