Abstract

Two studies examined whether past “thinking for speaking” effects on eye movements and recall emerge in richer task conditions. English-speakers utilized agentive or non-agentive sentence structure while describing a scene or predicting what will happen next. Ultimately, the data suggested even the original effects on recall are difficult to obtain.
