Subjective Age in Older Adults: A Thematic Analysis of the Ages Felt Physically and Mentally

We compared the ages that 226 older adults feel physically and mentally as well as why they chose those ages overall, by age group, and by gender. On average, participants felt younger than their ages both physically and mentally. Despite many common themes across subgroups, there were also notable differences.
