Abstract
Presentation of positive, negative, and neutral Deese-Roediger-McDermott lists, coupled with a mood-induction procedure and administration of the Beck Depression Inventory helped isolate the relative contributions of both measured and manipulated mood on false memory effects. These findings inform theoretical and applied efforts in understanding the relationship between mood and memory.
