Identifying the Causal Relationships for Psychological Research Using Data-Driven Approaches

We investigate the influence of observational treatment outcome measure scores on future suicidal attempts by leveraging data-driven causal discovery approaches. By incorporating the temporal information into the prepossessing step, we identify two methods for discrete and categorical data that can potentially help identify individuals in need of intervention.
