Abstract

Parenting self-efficacy is associating with positive parent behavior and is impacted by individual difference factors such as self-regulation. This study explores the relationship of emotion-related impulsivity, parenting stress, and parenting self-efficacy. Emotion-related impulsivity is indirectly related to parenting self-efficacy through its relation with increased stress that, in turn, lowers self-efficacy.
