Abstract
This longitudinal study examines youth-therapist treatment goal agreement on internalizing problems in a sample of mental health service-using Latinx youth. Findings indicate that youth-therapist internalizing problem goal agreement is positively associated with better treatment engagement in two specific areas: communication/openness and client’s perceived usefulness of treatment.
