Abstract
The psychometric properties of a brief version of the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 were tested in two heterogeneous samples of psychiatric outpatients. Test-retest reliability and internal validity were high. Convergent validity was also supported; more mixed support was found for discriminant and structural validity. Implications for instrument utility are discussed.
