The Impact of Extracurricular Leadership Activities on Adolescent Life Satisfaction

The present study examined the relationship between basic psychological needs satisfaction, vitality, and life satisfaction of adolescents and their involvement in- and outside of school leadership activities. Leadership involvement outside of school statistically predicted increases in youth life satisfaction. Practical and theoretical insights for promoting adolescents well-being are offered.
