Using Sensor-Enabled Gait Assessments to Define Malingering in Instructed and Coached Conditions

Malingering is encountered frequently in neuropsychological examinations. Cognitive based measures of malingering are often used but tend to confound effort and performance. In the current study we develop a gait assessment using sensor technology and relate gait signatures to instructed malingering conditions and to scores on established neurocognitive malingering measures.
