Concerns with and Support for Immunotherapy for Substance Use Disorder

Immunotherapy (IT) treatments are being developed for Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Participants believed such treatments are likely to be effective, but were concerned with diminished autonomy, increased overdose risk, and decreased efficacy of related medications (particularly for children). Support increased when considering IT for people with histories of SUD.
