Abstract
In a sample of adolescents, sleep moderated the relationship between symptoms of ADHD and mind-wandering. Hierarchical multiple regression analyses revealed that when sleepiness was high, mind-wandering was the same regardless of ADHD symptoms. However, when sleepiness was moderate to low, higher levels of ADHD symptoms were associated with more mind-wandering.
