Abstract

Childhood interpersonal trauma has a lasting impact on adult functioning. Those who experienced childhood trauma where the perpetrator was non-familial, but known, reported lower levels of resilience and quality of life enjoyment/satisfaction, as well as higher levels of impairment in work/social adjustment in adulthood, compared to those who did not.
