Abstract
A community-based project was integrated in an upper level undergraduate seminar on childhood adversity and resilience. Students created an educational experience for middle-schoolers using bread-making as a metaphor for exemplifying resilience skills. Students found the project challenging but beneficial while both middle-schoolers and partners evaluated the workshop positively.
