Abstract
The present study used a large representative sample (N=333) and established a database of 17 Chinese emotional video clips. Results showed that culturally-matching videos are more effective in eliciting emotions. In addition, paticipants’ emotional reaction of anger and awe are negatively correlated with their levels of depressive symptom.
