Abstract
This study assessed the association between childhood maltreatment and anger control in adulthood, a psychological risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD). Emotional abuse, emotional neglect, and physical abuse were all linked to poorer anger control, which may inform behavioral intervention development aimed at reducing risk for CVD.
