The Relationship between Moral Concerns and Language

Abstract
We analyzed Facebook status updates of 2,688 participants who completed the Moral Foundations Questionnaire. Using a dictionary of moral words, we found a positive association between virtue language and the self-reported concerns of Care and Purity and a negative association between vice language and Authority.
