The FACIT-Dyspnea-Short Form was translated into 45 languages from an existing English questionnaire. Results yielded conceptual equivalence across languages and minimal psychometric differences observed between the pooled data and original English source. Overall, the language-specific FACIT-Dyspnea-Short Forms are all conceptually equivalent used for cross-cultural comparison of health-related quality of life.
