Moderators of the Relationship between State and Trait Anxiety and Depersonalization

In an online study with 303 adults, we found a significant, positive relation between trait anxiety and trait depersonalization/derealization. Further, this relation was strengthened by higher trait levels of anxiety sensitivity, distress intolerance, negative interpretation bias for anxiety sensations, and negative interpretation bias for depersonalization/derealization sensations.
