Abstract
Childhood adversity, but not adolescent adversity, is associated with the beta diversity of the gut microbiota. Results indicate that this was present for minor, but not major, adversities. This finding is in line with growing research that childhood adversity is associated with an altered gut microbiota in developing youth.
