Abstract

3678 participants completed an online study examining how the weights of bullies impacted punishment endorsement and descriptions of the bullies. Punishment by both schools and parents was endorsed more and more negative language was utilized for overweight bullies. Implications for peer victimization, weight stigma, and linguistic analysis will be discussed.
