An Examination of the Relations between Positive Psychological Factors and Grit

This study tested the predictive ability of future orientation, mindfulness, sense of purpose, and life satisfaction on grit with a diverse college student sample. Findings showed that among the four positive psychology factors tested, future orientation was the only significant predictor of grit while controlling for covariates.
