Abstract
The present study examined the experimental impact of alcohol consumption and gender on people’s perceptions of blame for infidelity. Results indicated no significant main or interaction effects of gender and alcohol consumption on blameworthiness. Correlations were found involving blameworthiness, forgiveness, and perceptions of consent while under the influence of alcohol.
