Abstract
Intolerance of uncertainty (IU) and cognitive flexibility may be risk factors for depression by exacerbating negative mood states. The present study investigated cognitive flexibility as a moderator of IU and depression. Results demonstrated that high IU predicted depressive symptoms and that this relationship was enhanced by cognitive flexibility.
