Abstract
Our research examined connections between bad credit, egocentrism, stimulus-seeking, grandiosity, impulsivity and other PAI subscales and substance abuse in first year police officers. When associated with bad credit, high scores on the egocentrism subscale of the PAI predict substance abuse in the first year on the job among police officers.
