Speaking up Vs. Being Heard: What If the Voice Comes from a High Fit?

Abstract
Tests of our model grounded in elaboration likelihood model, revealed that employee reported voice behavior interacted with multiple fit domains to predict manager evaluations of promotive extra-role behaviors. No support was found for demands-abilities fit as a moderator of the relationship between employee voice and manager rated promotive extra-role behaviors.
