Cross-Cultural Expectations of a Trustworthy Person/Can I Trust You: Cross-Cultural Assessment of Trustworthiness?

A recognition of the importance of developing more contextual understandings of these constructs ([Li, 2007]; [Doney et al., 1998]) has emerged. This study seeks to answer the call to contextualize trust research by explicitly examining the nuances of trustworthiness within the American, Canadian, Iranian, and Japanese socio-cultural context.
