Abstract
The current study used SEM to explore differences in levels of mastery, self-esteem, well-being, and depression between sexual orientation and racial/ethnic groups and the unique effects of mastery and self-esteem on well-being and depression in sexual minorities. Both traits predicted well-being and depression; self-esteem was a stronger predictor of outcomes.
