The Roles of Conformity to Masculine Norms and Feminist Identity in Predicting Men’s Reactions to Male Privilege Awareness

Men’s reactions to information concerning male privilege were assessed. Feminist identity was positively associated with and conformity to masculine norms was negatively associated with agreement with an article regarding male privilege. Article agreement mediated links between feminist identity (and masculinity) and intentions to act to end sexual assault.
