Abstract
Using daily diary data, positive religious coping was found to predict higher positive affect ratings at multiple time scales. Negative religious coping was associated with higher negative affect and increased difficulty in emotion regulation. Intrinsic religiosity, but neither form of coping, was associated with increased carryover of positive affect.
