Abstract

Anxiety affects women twice as much as men and tends to be associated with impaired cognitive performance. Relationships between worry and cognitive functioning measured by medial-frontal theta synchronization (ICPS) in women have been inconsistent. In a sample of 112 women, we found estradiol moderates the relationship between worry and ICPS.
