Abstract
The largest contextual factors that impact trust are arguably societal cultural norms, and the role expectations of another within that culture. A qualitative analysis of descriptors of a trustworthy family member in Brazil, Canada, and Iran suggest family oriented as a common theme, although unique cultural themes were also found
