Abstract
We determined whether college students' subjective and objective attention and cognitive flexibility predict their academic multitasking habits. We then explored relationships between these factors and GPA. Students with stronger foundational cognitive skills were less likely to multitask during academic tasks, but these better habits did not yield a higher GPA.
