Abstract

Latent growth mixture modeling of data from the WTC Health Registry revealed four trajectory classes for PTSD symptoms and distress: low-stable, increasing, decreasing, and high-stable symptoms. “Resilient” (low-stable symptoms) trajectories were most common. The prevalence of “resilience” was lower when considering both outcomes simultaneously. Predictors of trajectories also were identified.
