Abstract
South African’s history demonstrates xenophobic attacks against other Africans. The purpose of the current study was to develop the Afrocentric Immigrants Scale (AIS), which examines attitudes towards African immigrants. The results provide evidence for a 13 item scale with a good model fit demonstrating two distinct factors, Solidarity and Xenophobia.
