Abstract
Secure base script knowledge reflects our caregiving history and serves as a cognitive framework, guiding our behavior in close relationships. The current study examines the stability of mothers’ secure base knowledge when children are 3.5, 5.5, and 7.5 years of age and relations to caregiving behavior across this time.
