Abstract
Although ambiguity has been widely used in sentence-processing research, the effects of consciously noticing ambiguity on reading strategies have not been sufficiently investigated. The present study indicates differences in measures of eye-movements between readers who notice the existence of syntactically ambiguous sentences in a text and those who do not.
