What Contributes to Students’ Perceptions of Academic Challenge?

Abstract
To understand what contributes to students’ perceptions of academic challenge, BCSSE subscales (i.e., quantitative reasoning, high school reading and writing, and learning strategies) were used as predictors of perceived challenge. The model was significant (p=.017, r2=.094); however, only learning strategies was a significant predictor (ß=.310; p=.003).
